GIANT TO REVIVE TRIALS

Giant signs a US trials winner to ride its mountain bikes this season. It takes only one to think about Hans Rey and Libor Karraus in order to see that nice guys who can put on a great show can do more to a bike company that a team of pro-racing teams full of reclusives who steal road bikes from the public eye and try speed enhancing substances.

(Newbury Park CA) Jeff Lenosky, the US National Stock Bike Trials Champion, has signed to promote Giant Bicycles at his demonstrations, competitions, and promotional ventures.

Jeff is a veteran of nine years of professional cycling trials and performs on his mountain bikes. He represents the Giant Bicycles spirit of fun, performance, and champion status.

Russ Okawa (Marketing Manager at Giant) states that Jeff is excited to ride Giant bikes. His exposure extends beyond the core group of bicycling enthusiasts to the wider public. Giant will experience a greater brand awareness by using Jeffs.

Lenoskys’ program includes appearances at major mountain bike events and special dealer promotions. It also features non-cycling events such as television shows or four days at the Olympic Village during the Winter Olympics. Jeff will also work towards obtaining his third National Trials Championship, when the NORBA National Series (National OffRoad Bicycle Association), begins in Spring.
